FALL 2014
Hello Fashion Fairytale Lovers!
It's finally Fall here in Hollywoodland, but it still feels like summertime in the city of eternal sunshine. I don't mind as long as I am dressed to the nines in something fab!!!! Lately, I have been experimenting with mixing up edgy rock n' roll accessories with my signature girly attire. In fact, I had a lot of fun being styled by the Queen of Rock n Roll fashion herself, the namesake of the iconic denim brand Frankie B., Frankie Clarke!!!! She has a cool new fashion blog. and she is a featured fashion insider fro magazine including Teen Vogue and Lucky Magazines. Her ultra hip bedroom was recently featured in Teen Vogue as well. This is proof that this style guru truly lives the rock n' roll lifestyle along with her parents Guns N Roses Guitarist Gilby Clarke and her uber cool mom Frankie B. creator, Daniella Clarke. I must say this is a new look for me, but I loved it!!!
Thanks to Frankie Clarke, I dared to step out of my comfort zone and go a little bit wild!!! But don't worry, I'm still a girly princess in fairy tale dresses sort of girl deep down . However, I've got a new found affinity for rock n' roll accessories which gives me a whole new way of playing dress up! Please check out my fashion feature on Frankies Planet (see link below) and Follow Frankie Clarke. She's rad and rocks fashion like no body's business. She's been my Queenie4ever muse and dress up partner for what seems like forever! Enjoy the fashion eye candy & get inspired like I did! About Shin Koyamada Foundation:
The Shin Koyamada Foundation was founded in 2008 by Japanese actor, producer, and Martial artist, Shin Koyamada, to empower youth and promote an Earth-Friendly lifestyle. In response to the devasting earthquake and tsunami on March 11, it has officially established the Japan Emergency Relief Fund of America (JERFA). JERFA is a nationwide official partner in the US with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan for collecting and sending much-needed supplies and goods to the victims of the disaster in Japan, in the Tohoku region. They have successfully raised enough funds for a first 20-ft container that left end of March, and are still working on sending much-needed aid to the 150,000 victims who have lost everything, are literally homeless, and lack basic goods such as towels, diapers, shoes, clothing, writing supplies, and food. The goal of the Shin Koyamada Foundation is to raise $80,000 and continue to send containers to the victims throughout the rest of 2011. JERFA is dedicated to collecting and transporting the relief goods and supplies requested by the Earthquake and Tsunami victims from the US to Japan, in conjunction with its partners and supporters, including the Consulate-General of Japan in the United States. JERFA is entirely run and managed by dedicated volunteers, and all funds contributed will be used to aid the Earthquake and Tsunami victims. Queenie4ever is proud to announce "The Kimono Project" Sustainable Earth Friendly Collection designed by Tatiana Mclane for EM Reconstruct. The project was inspired by Tatiana's experiences as a student at Stanford University's 100% Sustainable Campus this past summer by an eco friendly fashion show hosted on campus. "The decision to breathe life back into an old Kimono that traveled from a flea market in Japan to L.A. was easy. My passion for learning about Japanese culture brought me to Stanford to study Intensive Japanese Language. Living on a campus that promotes sustainabilty was a life changing experience. I wanted to do my part in Saving Our Planet. It seemed only fitting that as a fashion designer I could do my part by creating an earth friendly collection. My interest in Japanese traditional clothing led me to chose the Kimono as the piece to reconstruct. I am excited to debut "The Kimono Project" during L.A. Fashion Week. See the evite for details."

ACTRESS TATIANA MCLANE GETTING READY FOR HER FILM DEBUT "ONCE UPON A SWEET16" premiering on YOUTUBE!(click image to enlarge)
QUEENIE4EVER DREAMING IN 2009
Hello Beautiful Queenie4ever Day Dreamers!!!
Wake up sleepheads it's 2009 and time to check out my new music video " Once Upon a Sweet 16" ( Located under " Queenie4ever Films" on Queenie4ever website's home page)
It's my first production under my new film production company Queenie4ever Films
The song is " Dreaming of You" by the very cool L.A. band War Tapes (Sarathan Records).
I star as Princess Tatiana of Hollywood. It was filmed on location in my favorite hometown Hollywood at the Hollywood celebrity hotspot Yamashiro's Restaurant and around the city itself.
It was a magical, mysterious at times, and memorable day. Hope you enjoy my little film. In the meantime, I will be DREAMING OF more amazing designs for my new collection for YOU to dream about wearing on your next magical mystery adventure!!!
The
Fairytale Sweet Sixteen bash to celebrate Queenie4ever designer
Tatiana Mclane turning Sweet Sixteen took place at the famous Hollywood
landmark Yamashiro Restaurant in the HILLS overlooking the magical
home of the starlets and idols of the silver screen, Hollywoodland.
Wearing a purple
silk charmeuse mini dress featuring flowy long sleeves and a skirt
made from 3 tiers of silk flower petals designed by Tatiana Mclane,
a custom made Swarovski and pearl encrusted tiara, red shiny dolly
shoes, a red rose ring from Tatiana's Tarina Tarantino jewelry collection,
Tatiana was transformed into a FairyTale Princess. The party started
of with Princess Tatiana entering the skyview room, turning a very
large sparkly silver key into the keyhole of a giant music box which
made the lifesize ballerina standing upon the box come to life and
begin to dance.
This surreal
surprise was followed by an ethereal dance performance By Princess
Tatiana's Royal Court. The 9 girls were accompanied by a harpist
performing the Romantic theme song from the movie ' Somewhere in
Time'. A grand formal dinner was served followed by cake cutting
of the enormous 4 tiered strawberries and whipped cream cake decorated
with Swarovski crystal bands, white feathers, and topped with a
Swarovski crystal embellished monogram ' T'. The party atmosphere
hit the roof when DJ Arian lanched the second half of the celebrations
with Rihanna's hip hop thumping song 'Umbrella'. Guests kicked up
their heels and opened up 16 umbrellas provided to symbolize each
year of Princess Tatiana's glamorous life. A candy girl dressed
in black satin shorts and a vintage red usher's coat and hat walked
around with a tray full of yummy sweets reminiscent of the Old Hollywood
cigarette girls.
An in house
photo studio was set up by celebrity photographer Karl Clinger;
he had guests jumping up and down and posing for the camera like
Rockstars. Karl sets up a similar in house studio Karl at the Grammys
to capture the excitement of the celebrities after winning their
Grammys. The party lasted into the wee hours of the night, and Princess
Tatiana fell asleep in her Royal Carriage dreaming of the time she
'Once upon a time.....' turned Sweet Sixteen in the Hills of her
glitzy and glamorous hometown HOLLYWOODLAND.
THE END...
FOR NOW... Stay tuned for a BIG SURPRISE GIFT TO ALL OF OUR QUEENIE4EVER
FANS
coming to a theatre near you.

I’ve
been crowned Miss Vintage LA Doll!
A Vintage LA
Regal Hello to all my Queenie fans!
I was invited
to attend a book release party for " Vintage LA" by Jennifer
Brandt Tyler at the very posh shopping mecca Fred Segal in Hollywood
June 28th.
The invite
specified that guests were supposed to dress up in their finest
vintage clothing. I wanted to look like a vintage dress up doll
so I wore my pink and white Betsey Johnson tea party dress and a
little white cropped sweater with yellow trim. I accessorized with
vintage Stuart Weitzman Cinderella swaroski crystal studded jelly
flats and a sweet vintage Betsey Johnson shocking pink beaded purse.
My mom wore a vintage cream colored dress from the 30's, a vintage
headpiece embellished with the most luscious cream roses that appear
as if plucked from a fairytale garden, vintage Betsey Johnson shocking
pink and clear ankle strap stilettos, and her famous patent black
vintage handbag decoupaged with photos of beautiful 18th century
women.
My Mom and
I sashayed through the cafe past the Mayor of Los Angeles having
his lunch into the party area where I had Jennifer sign my book.
I spoke to her for a little while but a line started forming so
I said goodbye.
My Dad was
chatting with Rodney on the Rock the famous KROQ DJ and Giddle Partridge
designer/recording artist who was dubbed Queen of Hollywood by the
Runaways record producer Kim Fowley. Both Rodney and Giddle are
featured in the book, so I took photos with them and got them to
autograph my book.
I also got
to meet Jeaneen Lund who took all the amazing photographs in the
book.
A photojournalist
for Teen Vogue asked me if she could take photos of me outside.
Of course I said yes! I posed for some shots and then told her about
Queenie4ever. So maybe you'll see me in an upcoming issue of Teen
Vogue!
I got hungry,
so my dad decided to take us to lunch on Sunset Blvd. We sat outdoors
and ate pasta and people watched and got stared at by people passing
by. That's what you get for sitting outdoors on Sunset Blvd.
I stopped by
Book Soup in search of one of my favorite magazine's LULA but they
didn't have it. So, we walked down to the Whiskey a Go Go to hang
out with Billy Boy on Poison who was doing their sound check.
I was getting
kinda tired by this time, but I posed for some photos outside the
Whiskey's cool leopard print side entrance and in front of a cool
vintage photo of TOWER RECORDS before it closed down. There's a
photo of me when I was about 6 years old wearing an aqua tulle skirt,
gap kids gray tank top and black cowboy boots standing in teh parking
lot of Tower Records with Big Bad Voo Doo Daddy performing on a
stage set up for their record release event. I remember seeing the
waiters from Wolfgang Puck's which used to be located across the
street from Tower Records and overlooked the parking lot lined up
in their white aprons watching the band.
You would think
that we'd be done for the day. But, my parents had another band
playing at another club.
I was really
sleepy by time I finally got home really late that night, so I didn't
have time to read my new book. But, I just began to look it over
and I just noticed to my surprise: Jennifer Brandt Taylor's autograph
read's " To Tatiana, You are a gorgeous vintage doll!"
I am honored
to be crowned Miss "LA Vintage Doll" by the original La
Vintage Doll herself!
I highly recommend
this book if you love Vintage style and history of Los Angeles.
I have been to so many of the places in this book some of which
no longer exist and I'm only 15 years old and I'm just now learning
how special these places really are.
I LOVE L.A!!!!
Check photos
of me with some very cool L.A. music and fashion icons from this
fun and fashionable day!
A Special thanks
to Betsey Johnson's salesgirl Jackie Rose (named after the stylish
Jackie O) who's claim to fashionista stardom is styling Miley Cyrus
before she got famous and for styling me for my special event. Give
Jackie a big Queeniegirl hug from me if you visit the Santa Barbara
Betsey Johnson Boutique. And, then walk down State Street to the
cool bakery with delicious sweet treats and a harpist who plays
in the evenings for an extra special taste of living the good life
of a Queeniegirl!

I
GAVE MY REALITY SHOW CAMERAMAN A MAKEOVER!
HEY GLAMOROUS
QUEENIE FANS!
I gave my reality
show cameraman a makeover.
He showed up
to film my show in his typical grungy jeans and plaid shirt. His
jeans had a hole in it, so I sewed my rainbow panda patch over it
to make it look cool and unique. He liked the cool panda patch so
much that he wanted to see more of my designs, so he started checking
out my men's t shirt collection WONGWEAR.
Since he said
he really liked my new men's t shirts , he asked me to give him
a complete makeover. He told me that no one really ever pays atttention
or cares what the cameraman looks like. But, I think everyone should
look good. So, I had him change into black jeans, studded belt and
a chain that hangs from his belt loop, a wongwear gold foil asian
dragon shirt layered over a wongwear brown lone sleeve thermal shirt
screened with asian kanji on the arms.
I thought he needed a cool hat, so I found one in my dad's closet. A really cool
vintage straw hat from the swing era. I sprinkled him with lots
of Queenie royal dust and he turned into a ROCKSTAR!
I can make
anyone look like a RockSTAR! Including the hot lead singer from
a major label band like Tyler Connolly to the guy behind the lens
who you don't normally see on camera like the cameraman for my reality
show!
Check out the
photos of me giving my reality show cameraman a makeover on my photo

think!!!

Hello to all
my Loyal and glamorous Queenie fans!
Thanks so much
for supporting me and Queenie4ever. You make my world a very happy
place! I love designing for you, and I love seeing you looking amazing
wearing my clothes.
I want to introduce
you to Dorothy and Pollyanna. These are two of my new dresses that
are part of my Spring 2008 collection. Dorothy is inspired by my
dad's hometown Kansas and a girl who made Kansas famous in a movie
you may have heard of called the Wizard of Oz. I love Dorothy and
she is right. No matter where you may travel in your life. There
is "No place like Home" . To me Home is where your heart
is. My heart is wherever my family and friends are. Where's your
heart? Dorothy is a flirty baby blue gingham dress which can be
worn strapless or tie the attached ribbons into bows on your shoulders.
Pollyanna is
a pretty pink swiss dot dress with a demure yet flirty bow tied
at the neck. I love Pollyanna it makes me feel girly yet childlike
and carefree all at the same time. I named this dress after a very
special lady I've known since I was a little girl. I met her through
my friend and her brother Backstreet Boy Howie Dorough. She is a
beautiful singer and I like her classy style.
All my dresses
are designed with my signature hidden pockets. Perfect for the modern
girl on the go who needs a place to carry her cell phone, money,
lipgloss, and keys whether shopping, clubbing, or just hanging out.
Let me know

Look
for me on Season 5 "The Simple Life". I was an extra
in the Hot Mom USA Episode. I got to meet Project Runway designer
Nick Verreos who was one of the pageant judges. He is one of
the nicest celebrity designers that I have ever met! Here's
a photo of me and Nick Verreos on the set of "The Simple
Life".

I was
really excited when Nick invited me to check out his Prom Dress
collection he designed for Windsor Fashions. I couldn't wait
to see all of his beautiful dresses. I attended his autographing
signing at the Brea Mall where I got to see the whole collection
and try some of my favorites on! I love the " Addison"
dress the best. It's black with a deep V back, and front bow
and pleats. Very Audrey Hepburn and totally my style! I am now
the proud owner of a Nick Verreos original design! Here I am
modeling my new Nick Verreos prom dress with my own Stuart Weitzman
swaroski encrusted jelly flats.

It was
fun for me to hang out with Nick again. He's got a great personality
and acts just like he did on Project Runway. I bet he will have
his own talk show or something in the near future. And, Nick
if you are reading this, I am available to be a guest on your
show. Here's the Queeniegirls with Nick at Windsor Fashions

Hello Glamorous Queenie
fans!
I
wanted to share some cool photos of my summer hangin' with
some of my very cool Rock Star friends. I got to attend a
lot of great concerts this summer, and I even got invited
to sit in the VIP section for a taping of the popular TV show
ROCK STAR: SUPERNOVA ( Tommy Lee, Gilby Clarke etc...) I know
who I want to win. Do you? It was fun to see how much footage
is cut out and bleeped out before the show airs. I love Delana's
outfits the best. Her fashion rocks! I especially loved the
outfit she wore when she sang the Cyndi Lauper song. I can
definitely see her wearing a Queenie cameo tank top with that
corset and lace outfit.
After
the taping, I stopped by the very cool intellectual hip hop
artist Mr. Lif's show at the Knitting Factory in Hollywood.
His dred locks are pretty amazing in person.
I
also went to see LIFEHOUSE at their Orange County show. The
ampitheatre was packed with screaming LIFEHOUSE fans. The
Band is incredible live! Jason has a really strong beautiful
voice, and his voice blends well with Bryce's back up vocals.
Jason let a bunch of girls come up and stage and dance with
him while Bryce sang a David Bowie song. Teddy Geiger was
the opening act. I had a great time hanging out backstage.
They had some really yummy desserts which I tried to eat while
having my photo taken and being introduced to people. My friend
Bryce, Lifehouse's bass player, is really tall! He had to
bend down to take our photo.
One
of my favorite new bands is Fair to Midland who opened for
System of a Down this summer. I'm really excited for them!
They just inked a deal with Sergical Strike/Universal; they
are in the studio right now with producer David Bottrill (Tool,
Peter Gabriel). I got a chance to hang out with the guys when
they were in Los Angeles for their photo shoot. I can't wait
for you to hear their new CD! It will definitely blow you
away!
XOXO,
QUEENIE
